Lunch: Sahale barbecue almonds with mild chipotle & ranch

Lunch: I was at Starbucks and I wanted to get their protein platter (hard boiled egg, apple and grapes, mini bagel with peanut butter) but they were out, so I went with the Sahale barbecue almonds with mild chipotle & ranch. So good!

Afternoon snack: more Dublin Mudslide

Dinner: barbecue chicken wrap (I’ll post the recipe) with steamed broccoli & a glass of red wine

Breakfast: a breakfast cookie, only I eat mine immediately (no fridge time) and with 1.5tb peanut butter

Afternoon snack: a small strawberry/chocolate frozen yogurt topped with chopped strawberries, kiwi, and mandarin oranges

Morning snack: split a peach with the toddler, shared a package of Green Giant Antioxidant blend frozen veggies (ew)

Breakfast on the road: McDonalds sausage & egg biscuit, 1% milk

Lunch on the road: half Quiznos honey bourbon chicken large sub, sunchips, sweet tea

Afternoon snack: pretzels, two Quaker chewy Smores granola bars

Dinner out: shrimp and pasta in spicy tomato sauce (I ate all the shrimp, half the pasta) and tiramisu (small, I promise!)

Lunch: half salad at Panera. I went with the tomato, basil, mozzarella salad and I thought it was sort of disappointing.  We all shared a toffee nut cookie, so I had about a quarter of it.

Coffee and cereal for breakfast again.

Lunch at Panera Bread

Lunch - we had a super satisfying lunch at Panera. I got the "pick 2" with a half strawberry poppyseed salad and a cup of black bean soup, apple and water on the side.

Dinner was (unpictured) sauteed yellow squash.  I cut up and cooked probably five small/medium squash and between the three of us we ate it all.

I had coffee and a bowl of cinnamon Life cereal for breakfast… so no picture.  On the way up to visit my in-laws, we stopped for a bottle of water and shared a Nature Valley Oats & Honey granola bar.  For lunch, I had a southwest roast beef sandwich (roast beef on a sub roll with roasted red peppers and a sauce made from salsa & mayo) that my step-mother-in-law made for us, along with a handful of potato chips and a small scoop of cookies and cream ice cream.  We went out for dinner, and I got a big, delicious scoop of barbecue pulled pork which I ate covered in “Georgia Mud” barbecue sauce.  I didn’t eat any sides, and I shared a miniature bread pudding and mini brownie sundae with the baby.

Breakfast - Special K protein meal bar, chocolate peanut butter. This was a free sample... and I was less than impressed. Grainy and protein tasting, 15g of sugar. 90cal Fiber One bars are much better.

Lunch - six Gardein Crispy Tenders with hot sauce. I may or may not be obsessed with Franks Red Hot.

Snack - honey wheat pretzel sticks & marshmallow creme. Obsessed.

Breakfast - 2 cups of multigrain Cheerios (as always, shared with the toddler) and half of a HUGE container of watermelon

Snack - Kashi TLC Dark Mocha Almond bar. I don't like these all that much, but I bought them and now I'm just trying to eat them so they don't go to waste. Not awful, but not nearly as good as the dark chocolate coconut ones.

Tuna wrap & roasted eggplant

Lunch - tuna, black beans, and hot sauce on a whole wheat wrap with some stovetop eggplant... which I don't think I cooked well enough.

Pretzels & creme

Snack - honey wheat pretzel sticks & marshmallow creme. Obsessed.

Pizza Hut buffalo wings

Dinner - seven traditional medium buffalo chicken wings from Pizza Hut. The wings are cheap every Wednesday, so we splurge most weeks.

Klondike

Dessert - okay, there are only three left and the husband will certainly eat one tonight, so hopefully this is the second to last (maybe even last?) one of these to appear on my food journal for a while.

  3. I have been obsessed with honey wheat pretzels, too! And brownies…and chocolate…and bread…and cheese.

    The obsessions never end! Why can’t I be obsessed with carrots…or lettuce????? 😉
